Dr. Betty Duarte is the Regional Pharmacovigilance Head for Latin America and Canada at Pfizer, leading Worldwide Safety operations and high-performing teams across multiple countries. A pharmacist with more than 14 years in the industry, she is a recognized voice in patient safety, drug safety operations, and regulatory compliance. Her career spans community pharmacy, academia, and regional pharmacovigilance leadership. She serves as President of the Pharmacovigilance Association of Central America (ACENFA) and holds a PharmD and an MBA. A strategist and passionate team builder, Betty is dedicated to advancing patient safety and developing talent throughout the region.
